Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- On vehicles with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE .

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the noise insulation -1 and 2-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Attach the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A with Engine Support Bridge - Sub-frame Adapter10-222A/22 and T40091/3 to the fender bolting edge as shown in the illustration.

-- Install the other parts as illustrated. Position the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 1910-222A/19 on the notches on the longitudinal members.

-- Engage the Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and Hook10-222A/10 into the rear engine lift eyes.

-- Push the support T40091/2 with both Sliders T40093/5 into both Mounts T40093/4.

-- Install the long spindles from the Engine Support Bridge 10-222A and attach the hooks to the engine lifting eyes.

WARNING:

There is the risk of an accident.

Secure Supports T40091/2 with pins and connector Cotter Pins T40093/4.

-- Raise engine until engine supports are above engine bracket threaded pins and evenly tension all spindles to achieve even weight distribution.

Right Engine Mount

-- Remove the bolts -1- and remove the heat shield for the steering gear boot.

Continued for Both Sides

-- Remove the nut -1- and the bolts -arrows-.

-- Raise the engine using the spindles far enough so the engine support is above the threaded pins in the engine mount.

-- Remove the engine mount.

NOTE:

To remove the right engine support, turn the steering to the right until it stops.
