Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-: Removing

CAUTION:
Danger of malfunction caused by dirt.
- Note, refer to FUEL SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .
-- Clean and dry off the threaded area around the fuel pressure sensor with engine or brake cleaner.
NOTE:
Clean carefully, cleaner must not enter the connector.
Dirt must not get into the fuel rail boring.
-- Disconnect the electrical harness connector on the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- -arrow-.
-- Remove the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- using Socket 27 mmT40218.
NOTE:
Do not use an open-end wrench for opening or tightening.
-- Clean off dirt from fuel rail boring. Do not use mechanical tools.
Seal the hole in the fuel rail immediately with a suitable plug to prevent dirt from entering.
