Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2015 Audi Q7, 2014 Audi Q7, and 2013 Audi Q7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- maintains a constant pressure in the fuel rail and in the fuel injector lines (fuel high pressure circuit).
The engine will not start if the Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- is defective.
If the pressure in the fuel high pressure circuit is too high, the regulator valve will open so that some of the fuel flows from the fuel rail back into the fuel tank via a return hose.
If the pressure is too low, then the check valve closes and seals off the high pressure side from the low pressure side.
The Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276- has a biting edge for sealing and is not reusable. It cannot be changed out to be tested.
