-- Disconnect the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- connector.

-- Connect the Turbo E-Positioner Service Kit - Wire Set VAS 6395/2 on the Turbocharger Control Module 2 -J724- and on the Tester for E-Positioner - E-Box VAS6395B/1.

Select on the E-Box Tester for E-Positioner - E-Box VAS6395B/1 display:

-- Press the v  button -4- to continue.

• The Tester for E-Positioner - E-Box VAS6395B/1 checks the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- adjustment range in stages to determine if the end points are being reached. "CHECK" appears in the display.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Attach the Turbo E-Positioner Service Kit - Bracket VAS6395/6 to the center opening in the bracket for the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm.

• To determine the voltage, the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- will check back and forth several times between the stops.
• Then the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- will go into the in installation position.

-- While determining the voltage, tap on the side of the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- housing with the handle of a screwdriver until the following appears in the display:

Select on the Tester for E-Positioner - E-Box VAS6395B/1 display:

-- Write down the voltage.

• Specified value: 3.3 to 3.7 V.

-- Adjust the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- using the buttons ↑  -5- and ↓  -6- so that the coupling rod is easily accessible for removal.

-- Remove the circlips -arrows- and disconnect the coupling rod.

-- Adjust the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- using the buttons ↑  -5- and ↓  -6- so that the bolts for the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724- are accessible.

-- Disconnect the Turbo E-Positioner Service Kit - Wire Set VAS 6395/2 from the Turbocharger Control Module 1 -J724-

-- Remove the botls -1, 2 and 3- and dispose of them.
