The hose connections as well as the air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.
Secure all hose connections with standard production hose clamps.
In order to be able to securely mount the air guide hoses on their connectors, spray the screws on the previously used clamps with a rust remover.
Tightening specification for:
- Hose clamp -a- = 13 mm wide: 5.5 Nm
- Hose clamp -b- = 9 mm wide: 3 Nm
The air guide pipes must be free of oil and grease before installing.
Replace the O-ring for the air duct pipe and connector coupling if damaged.
Make sure the O-ring fits all the way around inside the groove on the air duct pipe.
Coat the sealing surface and the O-ring with a silicone-free lubricant.
-- Pull the clip into the release position -1-.
-- Install the air duct pipe all the way and press the clamp into its locking position -2-.
-- Press the air duct pipe on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
