Battery, Preparing For Support Mode

Before the battery charger can be connected, the following preparations are necessary:

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

-- Open cover -1- over positive terminal grip in direction of -arrow-.

-- Connect the red charging clamp "+" item -3- on the battery charger to the positive terminal clamp and the black charging clamp "-" item -2- to the negative terminal clamp.
