Cooler Cover
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Trim Removal Wedge 3409
Removing
-- Fold the center armrest -3- upward.
-- Open the cover -1- above the cupholders.
-- Remove the trim -2- using the 3409.
-- Pry the caps -4- off the screws.
-- Remove screws -1, 3, 5-.
CAUTION:
Danger of damaging the center armrest.
- Cover the underside of the center armrest to prevent scratches.
-- Pry the cooler -J698- -item 2- out of the multi-box using the 3409 -arrows-.
CAUTION:
Danger of damaging the compressor, the refrigerant lines and the cooler.
- Do not bend the coolant lines and hoses between the compressor and cooler.
-- Carefully push the cooler to the right until the hinge bolts are accessible.
-- Remove the left and right hinge bolts -2- with needle nose pliers -3- -arrow-.
-- Remove the cover -1- from the cooler -4-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
Tightening specifications, refer to COOLER OVERVIEW .
