-- Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Release mechanism cover -2- is connected and can be removed with the seat installed.

-- Disengage release -arrow-.

-- Remove screws -1-, -4- and -5-

-- Remove release mechanism -3-.
