Fuel System, Filling/Bleeding

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2018 Audi A6 Quattro, 2018 Audi A6, 2017 Audi A6 Quattro, 2017 Audi A6, and 2016 Audi A6 Quattro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

NOTE:

Due to the engine design and the fuel supply pump installed in the fuel tank, do not bleed the fuel system.

The fuel system bleeds itself when the starter is operated.

After working on the fuel delivery unit, the fuel supply line to the metering pump must be bled on vehicles with a parking heater.
