Power Steering Pump, 8-Cylinder MPI, Removing and Installing

Power steering pump, assembly overview:
NOTE:
- Always replace seals.
- Do not reuse fluid you have drained.
- Only use hydraulic oil .
- When replacing the power steering pump or pump bracket, check the alignment of the A/C compressor belt pulley and the power steering pump.
1 - Banjo bolt, 47 Nm
2 - Seal
- Always replace
3 - Extension hose
- Observe installation position: The angle between the line connection and the pump axle is approximately 17
4 - Intake hose
- - P - marking on intake hose must align with seam on pump
5 - Clamp
- Tension with hose clamp pliers V.A.G 1275 or locking pliers VAS 6199
- Always replace
6 - Vane Pump
- Fill with hydraulic oil before installation
- Checking delivery pressure → Power Steering Pump, 8-Cylinder MPI, Checking Delivery Pressure
- Removing and installing → Vane pump, removing and installing:
7 - Shim
8 - Belt pulley
9 - Hex socket bolt, 25 Nm
10 - Bolt, 25 Nm
11 - Bracket
12 - Bolt, 25 Nm
