Level Control System Control Module, Removing and Installing

Removing
- If control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".
Use vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051 A.
NOTE:
- The level control system control module J197 is installed on the bulkhead behind the glove compartment.
Follow safety precautions when disconnecting the battery → .
- Disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable with ignition switched off → .
- Remove glove compartment → .
- Remove air duct from the control module → .
- Release connector - 1 - on the control module in direction of - arrow - and remove it.
- Remove control module - 2 -.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:
- Level Control System Control Module J197 , re-adapting → Level Control System Control Module, Programming .
- Install air duct on the control module → .
- Install glove compartment → .
