Front Body Acceleration Sensors, Removing and Installing

Removing

• Remove seal - 1  -.
• Remove plenum chamber covers - 2  - and - 3  -.

• Disconnect connector - 1  -.
• Remove connector - 2  - from bracket - 3  -.
• Remove bolt - arrow  - and body acceleration sensor - 4  -.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

• Insert body acceleration sensor so locking device - arrow A  - engages in the brace in the body - arrow B  -.

• Tighten bolt - arrow  - for body acceleration sensor - 4  -.
• Connect connector - 2  - on bracket - 3  -.
• Connect connector - 1  -.
• Check body acceleration signal → Body Acceleration Sensor, Checking Acceleration Signal .
