Selector shaft oil seal, replacing

Removing 

NOTE:
  • Before raising the vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), the vehicle jack mode must first be activated.

NOTE:
  • Do not bend or kink the selector lever cable.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order or removal, note the following:

NOTE:
  • To prevent assembly lever from slipping when pressing in seal, place a slip-resistant base (e.g. piece of rubber) between assembly lever and subframe - arrow  -.

NOTE:
  • Do not bend selector shaft lever when pressing on, otherwise shift mechanism can no longer be adjusted exactly.
