Securing transmission to repair stand

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Hook and support tool 3311 with bolt 3311/1
- Holding fixture VW 313
- Holding plate VW 309
- Shop crane-load cap = 700-1200 kg V.A.G 1202 A or shop crane VAS 6100
Work sequence
- Remove transmission → Transmission, removing and installing, tightening torques .
CAUTION:
Replace bolt of the hook and support tool 3311 with a new longer bolt 3311/1.
NOTE:
- The new bolt 3311/1 is longer. Only in this way is the transmission fastened securely.
- Secure transmission to hook and support tool 3311 (using new, longer bolt 3311/1) and to holding plate VW 309.
- Using shop crane insert into holding fixture VW 313.
NOTE:
- If the filled transmission is turned upside down with the oil pan facing upward, the vents for transmission housing and final drive must be closed off.
