Removing and installing transmission mounts from transmission supports
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Mark installation position of transmission mount - B - on transmission support - arrow 1 - , using a felt tip pen.
- Secure transmission support - A - with transmission mount in a vise with jaw protectors.
- Remove bolt - E - from transmission mount.
- Attach new transmission mount to transmission support so that narrow side - arrow 2 - of transmission mount faces outward. In addition, make sure that the transmission mount is placed on marking (marked before removal).
NOTE:
- In order to ensure the exact installation position of transmission mount, proceed according to the following steps.
- First hand-tighten both transmission supports with transmission mounts to transmission.
- Check holes for bolts - D - of crossmember on transmission mounts.
- If necessary, adjust installation position of transmission mounts on transmission supports to prevent tension.
