Oil Level Thermal Sensor G266 , removing and installing

Removing

NOTE:

Before raising the vehicle on a hoist (wheels off the ground), first activate the vehicle jack mode → 43 - Self Leveling Suspension .

For vehicles with parking/auxiliary heater:

Remove bolts - arrows - for exhaust pipe of parking heater/auxiliary heater on noise insulation.

Loosen mounting parts - 1 - and remove noise insulation.
Place oil receptacle beneath.
Drain engine oil.

Disconnect electrical harness connector at Oil Level Thermal Sensor G266 - 1 -.
Remove Oil Level Thermal Sensor G266.

Installing

NOTE:

Replace seals.

Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

Apply sealant to studs of oil pan - arrows -.

Sealant

Install Oil Level Thermal Sensor G266 - 4 -.
Connect electrical wire - 3 -.
Add engine oil and check oil level.
Install sound insulation.
