Chain drive for oil pump, removing and installing

Removing

Toothed belt, removing → Toothed belt, removing and installing .
Remove front sealing flange → Front sealing flange, removing and installing .

Secure chain tensioner for oil pump using an angled piece of wire - 2 -.
Remove bolt - 1 - and pull off chain sprocket from oil pump.
Pull off chain sprocket with chain from crankshaft.
If necessary, remove chain tensioner from oil pump.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

NOTE:

Note installation position of chain sprockets. Sides with marking point toward front.

Note installation position of chain sprockets.

Installed location: Marking points toward front.

Install front sealing flange → Front sealing flange, removing and installing .
Install toothed belt (adjust timing) → Toothed belt, removing and installing .
Install torque support → Torque support (with torque support valve N382), assembly overview .
