Right cylinder head cover, removing and installing

• Remove engine cover -1 and 2- upward.

• Remove hose - 1  -.

• Disconnect hose - 1  -.
• Unclip hose - 2  -.
• Remove air intake tube - arrows  -.

• Disconnect hose - 1  -.
• Disconnect connectors of fuel injectors - 2  -.
• Remove fuel distributor - 3  - and lay aside.

• Remove ignition coils → 28 IGNITION/GLOW PLUG SYSTEM .
• Disconnect crankcase ventilation hose from cylinder head cover.
• Remove toothed belt cover.

• Remove left cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 12 to 1  -.
• Remove cylinder head cover.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

• Apply thin layer of sealant (dia. approx. 5 mm) - arrows  - to edges of sealing surfaces between bearing cap and cylinder head.

• Sealant

• Tighten cylinder head cover in sequence - 12 to 1  -.
