Right cylinder head cover, removing and installing

Removing
- Remove engine cover -1 and 2- upward.
- Remove hose - 1 -.
- Disconnect hose - 1 -.
- Unclip hose - 2 -.
- Remove air intake tube - arrows -.
- Disconnect hose - 1 -.
- Disconnect connectors of fuel injectors - 2 -.
- Remove fuel distributor - 3 - and lay aside.
NOTE:
- Do not open fuel supply and return line.
- Remove ignition coils → 28 IGNITION/GLOW PLUG SYSTEM .
- Disconnect crankcase ventilation hose from cylinder head cover.
- Remove toothed belt cover.
- Remove left cylinder head cover bolts in sequence - 12 to 1 -.
- Remove cylinder head cover.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
NOTE:
- Replace cylinder head cover gaskets and ignition coils if damaged.
- Replace bolts for cylinder head cover if gasket is damaged.
- Clean sealing surfaces, must be free of oil and grease.

- Apply thin layer of sealant (dia. approx. 5 mm) - arrows - to edges of sealing surfaces between bearing cap and cylinder head.
- Sealant
- Tighten cylinder head cover in sequence - 12 to 1 -.
