Turn Signal Switch E2, removing and installing

Removing 

• Remove Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM), removing and installing .

• Carefully release catches - arrows  -.
• Pull return spring with slip ring - 2  - with Steering Angle Sensor G85 - 1  - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).

• Remove bolts - arrows  -.
• Pull Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module J527 - 2  - and Windshield Wiper/Washer Switch E22 - 3  - off from steering column switch module (SCSM).
• Disengage Cruise Control Switch E45 - 1  - from steering column switch module (SCSM).
• Remove bolt - 5  - and remove retaining bracket - 4  -.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Make sure that all 3 catches as well as the harness connectors are engaged correctly.
• Install Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM) → Steering Column Switch Module (SCSM), removing and installing .
