Removing

CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical components.
Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Release retaining springs - arrows - at Rear Lid Lock Button (in luggage compartment) E406.
Carefully guide Rear Lid Lock Button (in luggage compartment) E406 out of rear lid trim.
Disconnect electrical harness connector.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
