Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer To SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Remove the memory seat adjustment/steering column adjustment control module. Refer To MEMORY SEAT/STEERING COLUMN ADJUSTMENT CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press the pin -2- toward the padding and out of the clip -arrow A- on the bracket -1-, for example using an upholstery needle.

-- Remove the pin -2- from the seat pan.

-- Remove the bracket support base -2- from the seat pan upper frame.

-- Unclip the clip -arrow A- at the seat pan upper frame -1-.

-- Disengage the retaining tabs -arrow B- (quantity: 2).

-- Carefully remove the bracket from the lower seat frame in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Remove the bracket from the seat pan.
