Removing upper steering column switch trim

Drivers airbag unit and steering wheel removed

• Pull steering column out and downward as far as possible.

• Remove bolts - 1  - (2x). Tightening torque 3 Nm
• Remove Torx bolts - 3  - with screwdriver T8 T40056. Tightening torque 0.6 Nm
• Unclip surround from instrument panel downward - arrow  -.
• Remove upper steering column switch trim - 2  -.
