Mounting Bracket, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing 

• Place vehicle on a hoist → Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels .
• Remove air spring damper → Air Spring Damper, Removing and Installing .
• Secure air spring damper with protective covers in vise clamp.
• Remove front and rear upper control arms → Upper Control Arms, Removing and Installing .

• Remove mounting bracket from air spring damper - 1  -.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

• Install mounting bracket on the air spring damper - 1  -.
• Control arm installation location.
• Mount wheel and tighten → 44 - WHEELS, TIRES, VEHICLE ALIGNMENT .
• Place vehicle on wheels → Positioning Vehicle on Hoist and Wheels .
