Removing

• Release retaining springs - arrows  - using a small screwdriver and pivot Garage Door Opener Control Head E284 out of interior/reading light.
• Disconnect electrical harness connector.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

• Connect electrical harness connector.
• Press on center cover for interior/reading light until it engages.
