1. Steering Column Crossmember
2. Self-Locking Nut
   • 20 Nm
   • Follow tightening sequence, refer to Fig 2.
   • Always replace if removed.
3. Bolt
4. Steering Column
   • Can only be replaced as a unit.
   • Removing and Installing, refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Bolt
   • 20 Nm
   • Follow tightening sequence, refer to Fig 2.
6. Handle
7. Bolt
   • 4.5 Nm
8. Power-Assisted Steering Gear
9. Bolt
   • 35 Nm + 90°
   • Always replace if removed.
10. Sealing Boot
    • Removing and Installing, refer to PROTECTIVE BOOT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
11. Nut
    • 4 Nm
    • Self-locking
    • Always replace if removed.
12. Steering Column Weight and Screws (NOT SHOWN)
    NOTE:

    The additional steering column weight and mounting screws are not shown. Refer to the specifications below.

    • Initial torque to 4 Nm
    • Secondary torque to 8 Nm
    • Quantity: 2
    • Always replace if removed.

-- Tighten screws -1- to -4- to specified torque in sequence shown.

-- Then tighten nut -5- to specified torque.
