Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
If Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415- is replaced, it is not necessary to adapt immobilizer.
Lock in Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415- is not mechanically coded.
Therefore, when Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415- switch is replaced, key must not be replaced. Existing keys continue to work.
Removal
-- Remove instrument cluster INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove driver's side upper instrument panel cover, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COVERS ON DRIVER SIDE OVERVIEW .
-- Remove the right knee bar, refer to LEFT DRIVER SIDE KNEE BAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove screws -arrows- and remove Access/Start Authorization Switch -E415- item -1- back from instrument panel.
-- Disconnect electrical connectors -1, 2, 3-.

Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-- Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.
-- Install the right knee bar, refer to RIGHT DRIVER SIDE KNEE BAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Install driver's side upper instrument panel cover, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL COVERS ON DRIVER SIDE OVERVIEW .
-- Install instrument cluster, refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
