Windshield Wiper Blades, Removing And Installing

Removal 

NOTE:

If the windshield wiper motor is to be run during the work procedure, the hood must be closed, otherwise the voltage supply of the wiper motor will be interrupted.

-- Turn on the ignition and bring the windshield wiper into the service position using MMI, refer to the Owner's Manual.

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Lift off wiper arm from front windshield.

-- Compress clip in direction of -arrows 1-.

-- Push wiper blade off wiper arm in direction of -arrow 2-.

-- Remove wiper blade.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Guide wiper arm tab -2- into wiper blade -1- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Switch ignition on and activate "one-touch wiping", the wipers then leave the "service position".
