Windshield Wiper Arm, Removing And Installing: Removal

NOTE:

If the windshield wiper motor is to be run during the work procedure, the hood must be closed, otherwise the voltage supply of the wiper motor will be interrupted.

-- Turn on the ignition.

-- Operate "one-touch wiping" and let wiper arms run to end position.

-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

NOTE:

Ignore items -1, 2, 4 and 5-.

-- Using a screw driver, pry cover caps off wiper arms.

Windshield Wiper, Driver Side:

-- Remove the nut -3-.

-- Position the Puller - Wiper Arm Kit - Puller 4 T10369/4 on the wiper arm -1- as illustrated.

-- Mount the pressure piece on the wiper axle.

-- Rotate the bolt -2- clockwise until the wiper arm is removed from the axle.

-- Remove The Wiper Arm.

Windshield Wiper, Passenger Side:

-- Loosen nuts -1- and -6- a few turns.

-- Position the Puller - Wiper Arm Kit - Puller 1 T10369/1 on the wiper arm -4- as illustrated.

-- Position the thrust piece -5- on the wiper axle.

-- Rotate the bolt -3- clockwise until the wiper arm is removed from the axle.

-- Remove the nuts and remove the wiper arms -2- and -4-.
