Wheel Housing Trim, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

WARNING:

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND TESTING PROCEDURES .

NOTE:

If trim clamps remain in body mounting points, remove these and insert them in trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

-- Guide seat belt -3- through opening -arrow A- in wheel housing trim -2-.

-- Secure the belt anchor/seat belt to the body using the bolt -1-. The anchor depression -arrow B- must rest on the anti-twist mechanism -arrow C-

-- Insert the wheel housing trim with mounts -1- in luggage compartment side trim -2-.

-- Clip the wheel housing trim with clamps -3- to the C-pillar while inserting the tab -arrow A- in the recess -arrow B- of the C-pillar trim.

-- Draw door seal lip -4- over wheel housing liner.
