Rear Lid Trim Panel Overview

NOTE:
Component designation relates to direction of travel.
- Upper Center Rear Lid Trim
- Clipped in with 4 or 5 clips when installing the sun shade on the rear lid.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to REAR LID TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Upper Left Rear Lid Trim
- Is secured to the rear lid with two clamps and one screw.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to REAR LID TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Lower Rear Lid Trim
- Can only be removed after removing upper trim.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to REAR LID TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Cover
- For the inner left tail lamp.
- Unclip with Trim Removal Wedge3409.
- There is a lower trim screw located behind cover.
- Left Luggage Compartment Lights
- Unclip with Trim Removal Wedge3409.
- Cover
- For luggage compartment emergency release.
- Rear Lid Lock Trim
- Inserted in lower trim.
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- 2 screws are only accessible after removing warning triangle.
- 2 screws are located under the inner tail lamp covers.
- Right Luggage Compartment Lights
- Is not installed on all vehicles.
- Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406-
- Is not installed on all vehicles.
- Retrofitting Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406- opening in lower rear lid trim. Refer to ADDING THE OPENING FOR THE Rear Lid Lock Button in Luggage Compartment -E406- IN THE LOWER REAR LID TRIM .
- Cover
- For the inner right tail lamp.
- Unclip with Trim Removal Wedge3409.
- There is a lower trim screw located behind cover.
- Clips
- Quantity: 6
- Inserted in lower trim.
- Replace if damaged or deformed.
- Upper Right Rear Lid Trim
- Is secured to the rear lid with two clamps and one screw.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to REAR LID TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Clips
- Quantity: 2
- Insert in upper right trim.
- Replace if damaged or deformed.
- Clips
- Quantity: 5
- Insert in upper center trim.
- Replace if damaged or deformed.
- Clips
- Quantity: 2
- Insert in upper left trim.
- Replace if damaged or deformed.
- Clip
- Sun Shade Mount
- If equipped.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to REAR LID TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Cover
- For the sun shade mount.
