Detaching The Wheel Housing Trim From The C-Pillar

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Detaching the Wheel Housing Trim from the C-Pillar, Not Removing

-- Fold the second row backrest forward.

-- Pull wheel housing trim -1- out of mounts in body with Trim Removal Wedge3409.

NOTE:

If clamps -2- remain in body mounting points, remove these and insert them in trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

Note installation location of supporting piece -3-, it must be in front area under sill panel strip -4-.

Attaching the Wheel Housing Trim to the C-Pillar

-- Insert the wheel housing trim with mounts -1- in luggage compartment side trim -2-.

-- Clip the wheel housing trim with clamps -3- to the C-pillar while inserting the tab -arrow A- in the recess -arrow B- of the C-pillar trim.

-- Draw door seal lip -4- over wheel housing liner.
