Charge Air Cooling Circuit Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The following removal and installation procedure is for the left charge air cooling circuit cooler.

WARNING:

Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
Reduce pressure by covering coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully opening.

-- Open the coolant reservoir cap.

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to FRONT BUMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses -arrows- with the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm3094.

-- Loosen the clamps and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the air guide -1- from the charge air cooling circuit cooler.

-- Remove the nut -1- and the bolts -2 and 3- and then remove the charge air cooling circuit cooler.
