Window Shaft Trim Molding, Replacing
Front Door
-- Lower the door window.
-- Tape off the body to protect from paint damage on the trim molding -1-.
-- Pry out the trim molding -1- starting at the back from the window shaft seal gaps -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge3409 and remove.
-- Coat the gaps -arrows- with soapy water.
-- Place the trim molding -1- on the upper window shaft seal gap -arrow- and adjust longitudinally.
-- Push the trim molding -1- in the lower gap -arrow-.
Rear Door
-- Lower the door window.
-- Tape off the body to protect from paint damage on the trim molding -1-.
-- Pry out the trim molding -1- starting at the back from the window shaft seal gaps -arrows- using the Trim Removal Wedge3409 and remove.
-- Coat the gaps -arrows- with soapy water.
-- Place the trim molding -1- on the upper window shaft seal gap -arrow- and adjust longitudinally.
-- Push the trim molding -1- in the lower gap -arrow-.
