Seat Heating Element, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Disconnect cover from upholstery. Refer to SEAT PAN COVER AND UPHOLSTERY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Cut the electrical wire -3- off directly at the old backrest heating element -2-.
-- Disconnect the connecting wires for the seat and seat bolster heating surfaces -upper arrows-.
-- Carefully loosen heating surfaces -A- and -B-, which are glued only along the edge, and remove them.
NOTE:
The spacer fabric must not be damaged.
The old heating surfaces -C and D- remain on the cushion -1- and will be covered over by the new heating element.
