Upper A-Pillar Trim, Removing and Installing
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Airbag Safety Precautions

1 - Upper A-pillar trim
- Removing
- Remove sun visor → Sun Visor, Removing and Installing .
- Remove roof grab handle → Roof Grab Handle, Removing and Installing .
- Loosen D-pillar trim and fold D-pillar trim aside.
- Remove screw - 4 -.
- Unclip upper A-pillar trim - 1 - out of clips - 2 - (2x).
- Pull out upper A-pillar trim - 1 - toward rear out of retainer - 3 -.
- Installing
CAUTION:
Always follow installation sequence for A-pillar trim.
- Guide upper A-pillar trim - 1 - toward front between door rubber and side plate.
- Guide trim retainer - 3 - into the proper clip.
- Clip upper A-pillar trim - 1 - firmly with both clips - 2 - (2x).
- Install bolt - 4 -.
CAUTION:
Ensure trim is held securely.
- Make sure that door rubber is pulled cleanly over upper A-pillar trim.

- Tightening torque 4 Nm
- self-locking
- Replace
- Always clean threaded holes for bolts (e.g. using a thread cutter)
