Power steering pump, assembly overview:

NOTE:

Always replace seals.
Do not reuse fluid you have drained.
Only use hydraulic oil .
When replacing the power steering pump or pump bracket, check the alignment of the A/C compressor belt pulley and the power steering pump.

1 - Vane Pump

Fill with hydraulic oil before installation
Checking delivery pressure → Power Steering Pump, 12-Cylinder, Checking Delivery Pressure
Removing and installing → Vane pump, removing and installing:

Torque specification →
- for 4.2 LITER V8 4V ENGINE MECHANICAL, ENGINE CODE(S): BVJ
- for 4.2 LITER V8 5V ENGINE MECHANICAL, ENGINE CODE(S): BFM
- for 5.2 LITER 10-CYL. 4V ENGINE MECHANICAL, ENGINE CODE(S): BSM
- for 6.0 LITER 12-CYL. 4V ENGINE MECHANICAL, ENGINE CODE(S): BSB

5 - Bolt, 23 Nm

6 - Bracket

7 - Sleeve

8 - Bolt, 23 Nm

9 - Sleeve

10 - Bolt, 32 Nm

11 - Seal

12 - Banjo bolt, 47 Nm

13 - Pressure hose

Note the installation position: The angle between the line connection and the pump axle is approximately 7
