Oil Pump, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Securing pin T40011

Removing 

• Remove oil pan lower part → Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing and Installing .

• Remove bolts - 1 to 3  - and remove oil line.

• Press chain tensioner in direction of - arrow  - and secure with locking pin T40011.
• Remove bolts - 1  - and - 2  -.
• Remove chain tensioner.

• Remove bolts - arrows  -.
• Remove oil pump and remove drive chain for oil pump from chain sprocket, pivoting the oil pump aside slightly.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Pay attention to alignment bushings during installation.
• Install oil pan lower part → Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing and Installing .
• Add engine oil and check oil level → Engine Oil Level, Checking  .
