Central Tube, Component Locations

1 - Central tube

• To remove and install, remove and install instrument panel → Instrument Panel, Removing and Installing 
• Separating instrument panel from central tube → Instrument Panel, Separating from Central Tube 

2 - Bolts (6x), 8 Nm

3 - Right side angle bracket

4 - Right plate

5 - Nut (2x), 23 Nm

6 - Screws (qty. 4)

• Tightening torque → Tightening Specifications  under Instrument Panel, Separating from Central Tube 

7 - Retaining parts (2x)

• Always replace after airbag has deployed

8 - Right support for glove compartment

9 - Screws, (qty. 2)

10 - Left support for glove compartment

11 - Screw, 8 Nm

12 - Screw, 12 Nm

13 - Plate

14 - Tunnel support

15 - Bolts (4x), 8 Nm

16 - Bolts (4x), 8 Nm

17 - Plate

18 - Nut (2x), 23 Nm

19 - not installed

20 - Left plate

21 - Left side angle bracket
