Backrest Ventilation, Removing and Installing

NOTE:

Rubber guide - 1 - is sewn onto upholstery - 2 -. If rubber guide is malfunctioning, the upholstery must be replaced.

Removing

Remove seat → Seat, Removing and Installing .
Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
Remove top backrest cover → Upper Backrest Cover, Removing and Installing .

Remove bottom backrest cover → Lower Backrest Cover, Removing and Installing .
Remove connector - 4 -.
Push cover - 6 - aside.
Drill out rivets - 5 - (2x).

Remove seat ventilation - 3 -.

Installing

Install seat ventilation - 3 - in reverse order of removal.
