Light bulb for fog lamp, replacing - Audi S6

Removing

CAUTION: HIGH VOLTAGE!

Always disconnect negative (-) battery terminal prior to working on parts of HID headlamp components marked with yellow "HIGH VOLTAGE" warning symbols.

Removing

CAUTION:

Switch off all electrical components.
Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire → Battery, disconnecting and connecting .

Left headlamp:

Remove air filter housing.

Right headlight:

Remove air filter housing.

All:

Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.

Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 - at bulb.
Disengage wire clamp - 2 - and remove bulb - 3 - from housing.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Insert new bulb (H7 - 12V, 55W W5W Longlife) into housing, do not touch glass cone with bare hands when doing so.
Secure bulb using wire clamp.
Reconnect harness connectors and close housing cover.
Adjusting fog lights 405.
