Cigarette Lighter: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

CAUTION:

Risk of injury.

After removing the T40148, check to see if the lighter retaining tabs are bent.
If the retaining tabs are bent, bend the m back so the lighter does not slide out.

-- Remove the support -1- on the T40148.

-- Slide the piston down and hold it in place.

-- Rotate the thumb wheel -4- on the Release Tool for Cigarette Lighter T40148 counterclockwise -arrow-. This loosens the release tabs -2- on the cigarette lighter -3- so the T40148 can be removed.
