Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

General Information 

Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- interlinks the different CAN bus systems in the vehicle.

It transmits data from for example the engine control module (drivetrain CAN bus) to the instrument cluster (instrument cluster CAN bus).

Fault finding is performed via "Guided Fault Finding" on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
