Entry Assistance Release Cable B, Removing And Installing: Installing

WARNING:
  • Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
  • Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, connecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
CAUTION:

Make Sure The Backrest Is In The Basic Position, I.E. It Must Be Moved Forward As Far As The Stop Using The Handwheel.

-- Engage the eyelet on the >>entry assistance<< release cable B -1- first on the pin -arrow- on the backrest hinge.

-- Secure the >>entry assistance<< release cable B on the backrest hinge.

-- Clip the >>entry assistance<< release cable B -3- in at the seat forward/back adjuster -2-.

-- Engage the eyelet on the >>entry assistance<< release cable B -3- from the pin -arrow- on the seat rail.

-- Adjust the >>entry assistance<< release cable B. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE RELEASE CABLE B, ADJUSTING .

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following: 

NOTE:

Make Sure The Connectors Are Installed Correctly And Are Secure.

WARNING:

Ignition Must Be On When Connecting Battery. If Pyrotechnic Components (For Example, Airbag, Belt Tensioner) Are Not Repaired Correctly, They May Deploy Unintentionally After Connecting Battery. There Must Not Be Anyone Inside The Vehicle When Connecting The Battery.

-- Connect the battery ground cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to .

NOTE:

If The Airbag Indicator Lamp -K75- Indicates A Fault, Check The DTC Memory, Erase It And Check It Again Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
