Backrest Cover, Removing And Installing, Two Piece: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following: 

-- First slide the upper hooks -2-. Refer to Figure under the top backrest frame cross panel.

-- Tilt the backrest cover down and engage the side retaining tabs -3 and 5- and the lower hooks -4-.

-- Make sure the side retaining tabs -3 and 5- engage with the backrest frame trim correctly and the lower hooks -4- slide over the backrest frame trim seats.

-- Press the backrest cover -1- firmly into the areas marked with circles in the direction of the backrest.

-- Check the retainers for secure seating and try to pull the lower part of the backrest cover off.

-- The backrest cover is engaged properly if it cannot be pulled off.
