Installing the Over-Center Spring

-- Clip the bearing shell -1- in the appropriate bearing position.

Bearing Position	Over-Center Spring Color
"I" -arrow A- :	Green Blue Red-purple
"II" -arrow B-	White

-- Install the over-center spring -2-.

The black side -arrow C- faces the clutch pedal.

-- Press the clutch pedal -1- down as far as the stop and insert the over-center spring -2- with the Over-Center Spring Assembly Clamp T40025.

-- Pull the clutch pedal back to its rest position. Remove the assembly clamp while the over-center spring is stretched.

-- Install the footwell vent. Refer to INSTALLING .

-- Install the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
