Removing and installing backrest heating element (bonded)

• Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
• Remove backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .
• Remove cover and padding from seat pan → Backrest cover and padding (sports seat, standard seat), removing and installing .

• Cut cable - 3  - off old heating element - 1  -.
• Align heating elements - 1  - on the backrest cushion, remove the protective film and bond the heating elements firmly onto the padded surfaces.
• Push the electric cable - 3  - into the gap - 4  -.
• The connecting cables must be laid without crossing in the bottom of the gaps at positions - 2  -.
