Bonded Backrest Heating Element, Removing and Installing

• Remove seat → Seat, Removing and Installing .
• Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
• Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
• Remove the backrest → Front Backrest, Removing and Installing .

• Remove cover and cushion of backrest → Front Seat Covers and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats  and → Front Seat Covers and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats .

• Cut off wires - 2  - (2x) at positions - A  - (2x) from old heating elements - 1  - (2x).
• Align heating elements - 1  - (2x) on seat side bolsters, remove protective foil and glue heat element to upholstery surfaces.
