Right suction jet pump, removing and installing

Removing

Observe safety precautions → Safety precautions .

Observe rules for cleanliness → Rules for cleanliness .

Remove right fuel delivery unit → Right fuel delivery unit with Fuel Pump (FP) G23 , removing and installing .
Remove right Fuel Level Sensor 4 G393 (tubular sensor) out of fuel tank.

Through left fuel tank opening, separate suction jet pipe - 5 - from Y-piece, by pressing release button.

Through left fuel tank opening, press release buttons - arrows - and remove fuel delivery line - 2 -.

Through right fuel tank opening, press release button - arrow - and pull bracket for suction jet pipes from mounting.
Pull right suction jet pipe with lines out toward right fuel tank opening.

Installing

Set right suction jet pump - 1 - into fuel tank so that is positioned in recess of front fuel tank baffle plate - 2 - , as shown in illustration.
Press suction jet pump bracket into mount until it engages audibly.
Feed fuel delivery line through the right fuel tank opening into left chamber of fuel tank. Observe routing:

The fuel delivery line - 1 - must be routed under fuel filling line - 2 - in area of left fuel tank opening.

NOTE:

Press fuel delivery line - 2 - onto left fuel delivery unit until it engages audibly.

Through right fuel tank opening, feed suction jet pipe - 5 - toward left chamber of fuel tank.
Push suction jet pipe onto Y-piece until it engages audibly.
Insert Fuel Level Sensor 4 G393 in fuel tank.
Install right fuel delivery unit → Installing .
