Brake pedal, removing and installing

Removing 

• Remove trim on drivers side. → 68 - INTERIOR EQUIPMENT
• Remove brake light switch → Brake light switch, removing and installing .
• Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster → Brake pedal from brake booster, separating .
• Remove hex bolt.

• Remove brake pedal.

Installing 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, with special attention to the following:

Joining brake pedal to brake booster 

• Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal in direction of brake booster, so the ball head locates audibly.
• Adjust brake light switch/brake pedal switch → Brake light switch, removing and installing .
