Rear Lid Remote Control Lock Switch and Fuel Tank Lid Unlock Button Unit, Removing and Installing

Removing 

• Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
• Remove front door trim → 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
• Detach insulating mat from door trim.
• Remove bolts - arrows  - and remove speaker trim.

• Disconnect electrical connector - 1  -.
• Remove bolts - arrows  - and detach storage compartment from door trim.

• Use Allen wrench to remove pin - 1  - for actuating storage compartment catch and pin - 2  - for stop.
• Repeat procedure on other side of storage compartment.
• Open storage compartment.

• Remove switch cover panel - 1  - - arrows  -.

• Lift rear of switch - arrow 1  - and detach towards inside of storage compartment - arrow 2  -.
• Disconnect connector.

• Release left and right button unit and press back out of switch mount in storage compartment - arrow  -.
• Disconnect electrical connector - 1  -.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

• Press button unit into mount until fasteners engage.
• Install front door trim → 70 - INTERIOR TRIM .
